What does Gecko Rent A Car offer?
Here at Gecko we try our hardest to provide our clients with the best service, cars and rates to ensure you will a trouble free, relaxing vacation.
What locations does Gecko Car Rentals serve?
We specialize in rental cars and serve Bucerias, Nuevo Vallarta, La Cruz, Punta de Mita, Sayulita, as well as, the Puerto Vallarta Airport. If you are staying south of the airport, let us know as it will affect pickup.
Can I ensure I’ll get an automatic?
Yes. The majority of our rental vehicles come with an automatic transmission.
Is insurance included with the rental price as quoted?
Yes, our rates include full coverage insurances (Liability and Collision). You are responsible for up to the deductible amount of 8,000 pesos (most cars)
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel please let us know ASAP. We will cancel with no penalty.

Are there any hidden charges?
No, the first price we give is the real, "out the door" all in price. No Surprises!
What are the requirements to rent a car?
Just two things: A valid Drivers license & a Visa or Mastercard. We take a pre-authorization credit card when you pick the car up and cancel it when you bring the car back. The pre-authorization is 8000 pesos on most cars.
What is your exchange rate for Mexican Pesos?
What is the minimum age to rent a car?
We don't have a minimum age, anyone with a valid drivers license and a Visa or Mastercard can rent a car.
Do all vehicles have air conditioning?
ALL of our vehicles, except for convertibles have a/c.
Can I get a child safety seat?
Yes, we have toddler and boosters seats available for 20 (USD) a week.
Can I get a no smoking permitted vehicle?
Sorry we cannot guarantee your car has not been smoked in. We try our best to keep the cars smelling like nothing at all. If you get a car that has a smell let us know as soon as possible so we can correct the problem by giving you another car.
